Verhoef Access Technology

Verhoef is our partner for gangways for a safe transition from shore to inland and seagoing vessels. They offer a large number of standard designs, which can be flexibly adapted or tailored to the specific requirements of the customer.

The 3 main types are:

• Column type: This type features a telescopic gangway at a fixed height and is suitable as a box gangway and as a ship gangway.
• Riding ladder and gangway with lifting gantry: can be used when variation in ship deck levels is limited and sufficient space is available on the jetty deck.
• Tower type: This type features a telescopic gangway that moves vertically along the tower by means of a lifting platform. Thanks to the lifting platform, the gangway tower can span the deck of a ship, from small inland vessels to ultra-large oil tankers.

Verhoef Access Technology has also been manufacturing "Lifeboats" for over 50 years.

These rescue vessels are attached to large ships and drilling platforms. They allow the crew to leave the ship or platform quickly and safely.
