Adequate fall protection was essential for safely collecting samples from the roofs of tanker trucks, as drivers were performing these operations without safety equipment or guardrails.
To this end, Safety Science installed a double platform with retractable stairs, the width of whose platform is pneumatically adjustable to the length of the tanker truck.
The platforms are accessed via a central staircase, where the platform and ladder are pneumatically raised to the roof of the tanker truck, and the platform width is adjusted.
