Supply of walkways for barges

Safety Science supplied barge gangways to Van Oord, used during the installation of the Windpark Fryslan wind farm, a park of 89 wind turbines on the IJsselmeer lake.

These gangways connect the turbine islands, the pontoons, and the "Soccer-Pitch" pontoon, which is about half the size of a football field.

Built by Verhoef Access Technology, these gangways create a safe passage between the various work pontoons and the islands, ensuring the movement of workers and equipment.
