Lean Manufacturing – 5S – Six Sigma

Lean Manufacturing is a method aimed at improving business processes.

5S is a Lean Manufacturing concept that refers to 5 Japanese words:

  • Seiri (Sort):Separate needed items from unneeded junk and remove what is useless.
  • Seiton (Set in order): Neatly arrange what is left so it is easy to find and use.
  • Seiso (Shine): Clean and inspect the work area.
  • Seiketsu (Standardize): Create rules and visual controls for the first three steps.
  • Shitsuke (Sustain): Build the habit of following the rules without being told. [1]

The 5S method aims for a tidy, well-organized, and clear workplace where it is pleasant, safe, and efficient to work!

Our label printers and floor marking tape can help you with this.

Labelprinters

With the CPM-100, CPM-200, Multimax V8, and Multimax V12 label printers, you can create a shadow board for any workstation in no time.

Additionally, you can mark all tools, create instruction labels, mark pipes, and add safety pictograms where necessary.

Floormarking

The floor marking tape for your Lean – 5S projects is available in many colors and widths.

The self-adhesive shapes such as arrows, letters, numbers, pictograms, and footprints withstand pedestrian and forklift traffic and are applied in an instant without interrupting your work.
