Pipe Marking

It is important to indicate the chemical substances circulating in your pipes, their origin and their destination. This helps prevent environmental and human damage. We offer an unrivaled range of pipe marking solutions. These comply with European Directive 92/58/EEC, NEN 3050, NBN 69 and DIN 2403, as well as ISO 20560. Our range includes customized labels to meet each customer's specific pipe marking requirements.

You can print your own pipe markings using our MP1, SP3, Multimax V8, Multimax V12, CPM-100, and CPM-200 printers. Safety Science has developed dedicated software that allows you to print your pipe markings in arrow or roll format in no time. The arrow is even perforated for easy removal of the excess during installation.

Where should the markings be placed to best follow the pipe and conduit layout?

• At wall interruptions and floor crossings.
• At operating and maintenance points, as well as at pumps.
• At shut-off valves, pipe connections, tanks and vats.
• At elbows, diversions and junctions of several pipes.
• At all locations where operations are carried out.

In Belgium, color codes must be selected in accordance with standards NBN 69 and NEN 3050. A new standard, ISO 20560, will replace these older standards in the future.
